About us

The history of the band.

In its early days, the band followed the popular Blues Brothers, Commitments and Soul and Motown music styles. Although a hint of these tracks still remain in todays set list, they are more inclined to blow you away, literally, with its superb Saxophone brass section, playing some classic tunes from the 70's disco era, to the party and memorable hits of the 80's and through to todays music by Plan B, Cee-Lo Green and the amazing Adele. This mixed in with some Madness, Take That, Bee Gees and Beatles hits, you have a band suitable for all tastes and ages.

The band comes with male (and hopefully new for 2012,female lead vocalist) and harmonic backing also. The rhythm section keeps the songs nice and tight and is able to switch styles smoothly.

The thing that sets this band apart from others locally is the element of fun on stage, making guests and hosts feel part of the night from the start. They know how to entertain an audience from the first song of the night.

They are a regular feature on the wedding and corporate circuit, playing for hundreds of couples over the years without complaint. They will bend over and go the extra little bit just to make sure that a couples night is more memorable than any others.

They have been also fortunate enough to play the best venues available in Kent and the Southern counties, no more so spectacular than the top floor of the Swiss Tower (The Gherkin to me and you) in the heart of the financial city of London. However, the band has played much more smaller and intimate occasions and enjoyed every second.

Services

We understand that each booking requires the personal touch. This is what we can offer.

Acoustic Duo/ Trio

This would be played to compliment your wedding breakfast or arrival of your guests at your party.

The duo comes with vocals and acoustic guitars played through a PA system at a symphathetic volume.

The trio can be added to with a piano and additional vocals.

This is also available seperate from the band on enquiry.

A lovely way to make your occasion different and memorable.

Full band set up EVENING

This is offered as an evening set up.

This will consist of the whole band inc brass

to play for you.

We supply everything that is required including lights and PA system.

We can play our range of songs for a maximum of 2 hours 30 mins. This can be 2 or 3 sets of music spread to suit you. We also provide disco or background music to suit your guests in our break/s.

Full band set up DAYTIME

This is a different offer as the band would come during the day (where available) and set up the main bulk of the equipment to save time and noise in the evening.

This will not be offered at some venues due to the location of the stage area or band playing area being a hazard to the wedding breakfast or daytime guests.

Full band set up with acoustic.

This is the ultimate wedding day entertainments package.

From start to finish you will be treated to the acoustic duo/trio starting your day off in style with fantastic songs.

Then onto the evening where the full band rolls up and performs until the night draws to a close.

All of the details involved in this service can be negotiated and suited to your own personal needs

History

Here is a selection of letters and correspondance from previous parties and people we've been fortunate to play for.

Hi guys

We just wanted to send a massive thank you to you all for playing at our wedding reception at Dover Town Hall on Saturday 24th September. We had a brilliant night, as did our guests and we can not thank you enough for this. We have received endless compliments on your behalf and will definitely be recommending you to friends and family.

Hi Alan,

Everyone said what a great band you all were, you set up and did sound checks so professionally and quickly without all the endless one, one ,two that drives an audience mad!

You looked great, sounded great and really made the evening special to me, a very personal service. There may not have been that many of us, but all of us especially Rachel(!) had such a good time, the music covered all tastes and ages and a few of the less agile of my guests said after that they rocked their chairs till they almost broke!

These events are so important to the people who organise them, we spend hours arranging and working toward them and spend our hard earned money, and my 60th was all I could have asked for I wanted to dance all night and apart from Madness I think I did!

You were all worth every penny-

A huge Thank You to all the band and we recommend you to anyone and everyone that we meet!
